[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he health of rapper Lil Wayne was the subject of conflicting reports on Friday, when celebrity website TMZ.com says he was in a medically induced coma and “being prepared for last rites” while a fellow rapper saying Wayne was alive and well and watching a basketball game.

TMZ said the rapper, 30, was admitted to Cedars-Sinai for seizures and released on Wednesday. But the website said he was readmitted a few hours later after his bodyguard found him unconscious on the floor of his room.
It said his mother was flying to Los Angeles to be at his bedside.

PEOPLE say their busy schedules were a big reason behind the split, which makes sense considering they are two of the busiest people in Hollywood.
After dating for more than two years, Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough have decided to take a break and are living apart, sources close to the couple confirm to PEOPLE.
The sources maintain that busy work schedules proved to be a great challenge for them both, although they are still in regular contact and remain friends.
Reps for Hough and Seacrest declined to comment.

Lil Wayne is in ICU in critical condition after suffering yet another seizure, and we’re told it doesn’t look good … TMZ has learned.
We broke the story … the 30-year-old rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. Tuesday night after suffering multiple seizures. He was released Wednesday but just hours later one of his bodyguards found him in his room, on the floor and unconscious.
Wayne was rushed to the hospital again, but this time he did not stabilize. He was taken to ICU, where he was placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably.
We’re told Wayne is currently “unstable,” and has been placed in an induced coma. He is breathing through tubes.
We’re told several people are at Wayne’s bedside crying, and a number of rap artists and family members are on the way. Sources say the scene is violent as Wayne shakes uncontrollably.
Sources say there’s evidence Wayne went on a Sizzurp binge after being released Wednesday, because doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system.
We’re told Wanye’s stomach was pumped 3 times to flush the drugs from his system.

The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) has banned a former NBA player for choking a teammate who attempted to restrain him from going after a referee in last Friday’s game between his team Petron Blaze Boosters and the Alaska Aces.

Renaldo Balkman, who played in the NBA for six years, assaulted team mate Arwind Santos, who was trying to stop him from going after the referee over a decision, Reuters reports.

The former New York Knicks and Denver Nuggets player has also been slapped with a fine of 250,000 Philippine pesos ($6,100) over the incident, Philippine Basketball Association commissioner Chito Salud said in a statement on Monday.Balkman, who was playing for the Petron Blaze Boosters against the Philippines-based Alaska Aces, assaulted Arwind Santos while his team mate tried to stop him from venting his frustration at a referee’s decision.
Salud said he took into consideration Balkman’s past record as a player, which included a head-butting incident during a FIBA-Americas game between his Puerto Rico side and Venezuela”I also took into consideration Balkman’s evident disregard for local and the host country’s sensibilities highlighted by his choking act on-court in full public view of his own team mate who was trying to pacify him,” Salud said.
