Three Tribes, Three Returning Castaways for Survivor: Philippines



Survivor host Jeff Probst revealed the format for season 25, which will be held in the Philippines, specifically in Caramoan Islands, during the Survivor 24 Reunion early this year.  Three previous players who were ousted from the game for medical reasons in prior seasons will be plyaing again for another shot.

So who exactly is coming back on Survivor: Philippines?

1. Russel Swan

Russel Swan (Survivor: Samoa)

Evacuated for losing consciousness several times during a challenge because of a dangerously low heart rate (the only time a challenge ever had to be canceled).

2. Mike Skupin

Michael Skupin (Survivor: The Australian Outback

Evacuated for inhaling smoke; passing out into fire hands-first.

3. Jonathan Penner

Jonathan Penner (Survivor: Cook Islands/Micronesia

Evacuated for disgusting, bulbous, life-threatening infection in his knee, which had been punctured during a reward challenge.

There’s also been a lot of speculations that the castaways will be divided into three tribes namely Kalabaw (Water Buffalo), Matsing (Monkey) and the Tandang (Rooster).
