International pop superstar Charice is filming a Hollywood movie with Salma Hayek.
The 18-year old singer is currently doing an action-comedy film titled “Here Comes The Boom” with Oscar nominated actress Salma Hayek. It was her mom, Raquel Pempengco who sent the link news to ABS-CBN website detailing the Pyramid singer’s next big project. However, the news has not yet been confirmed by Charice’s mother. Other cast will be Kevin James, Joe Rogan, Germaine de Leon, Henry Winkler and Shelly Desai.
“The movie is about a school about to lose the music department, so the school music teacher (played by Kevin James) ‘goes to cage fighting for prize money to keep the music program,’” the post read.
According to some entertainmet sites, Charice will play the role of Malia and the movie will be handled by film director Frank Coraci (the man behind “Click” and “The Wedding Singer”).
Charice made her Hollywood debut when she appeared in “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel“. In the next couple of weeks, Charice will reprise her role as Sunshine Corazon on the 17th episode of Glee Season 2.
