Nominations for the 47th annual ACM Awards were announced today, (January 26).

Kenny Chesney leads male nominees with 9 nominations. Jason Aldean gets 6 nominations, Brad Paisley with 4 nominations while Taylor Swift has 3.

Idol’s Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson receive 2 nominations  for the 47th annual ACM Awards. The two are both nominees in the Vocal Event Of The Year category. Carrie is also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and Kelly joins Jason Aldean in the Single Of The Year category for the track “Don’t You Wanna Stay.”

The Voice coach Blake Shelton also scored 2 nominations, Male Vocalist Of The Year and Entertainer Of The Year.
