Hollywood film “Bourne Legacy” will shoot in Manila for a month according to Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Francis Tolentino.
The much admired character of Jason Bourne (played by Matt Damon) is not being eliminated. This film is not a reboot, recast or prequel. No one’s replacing Matt Damon. There will be a whole new hero, a whole new chapter…this is a stand-alone project. Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Hurt Locker) will play as the new killer agent Aaron Cross trained by same people who put Jason Bourne!
Shooting locations of the much-awaited movie “Bourne Legacy”were revealed by the MMDA. This is the fourth part of the Hollywood action thriller spy film Bourne series, now will take place in different places of Metro Manila.
Locations include Marikina City Market, San Andres Market, Navotas Fishport, Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan, Pasay Taft, Intramuros and Jones Bridge.
According to reports, El Nido in Palawan will also be one of the places.
